This Saturday, December 20th, come hear Tom Peron & his Tomcat Trumpeters as they play Christmas songs in downtown Davis. If you’ve never heard two dozen trumpets or more (Tom is expecting 23 this year) perform intricately harmonized carols in the open air, you’re in for a treat.
This year the group will begin at 1:00PM in front of Watermelon Music and will stroll around downtown performing on street corners and the E Street plaza until about 2:15PM. Last year the beautiful sound of the harmonized trumpets bouncing around downtown was breathtaking. If you’re going to be around on Saturday, we invite you to come and listen.

Watermelon Music invites you to brave the wind and rain and join us for a night of music-related artwork by local artist Tom Corbett this Friday, December 12. We will have examples of Corbett’s collages on display from 5:00PM and plan on remaining open until about 8:30PM.
Enjoy live music from guitarists Mike Bender and John Spivack and snack on home-made goodies from Watermelon Music owner Jeff Simons. This is Watermelon Music’s first Friday Art About feature, so we’ll do our best to make it a memorable occasion, Mother Nature notwithstanding.
