WOW!!  Nationally acclaimed songwriter/producer/guitarist/music guru David Houston will be performing live at Watermelon Music backed by String Theory, (violinist Reylynn Goesslin, violist Michael Frost, cellist Alison Sharkey and bassist Shawn Hale) during this month’s Second Friday Art About.  Houston’s sonorous voice and tasteful guitar juxtapose perfectly with the group’s original string arrangements to produce a sound that is both melancholy and alive.  It’s an unlikely combination that just works.

We asked if they would perform after watching clips and reading stellar reviews of past performances at Luna’s and Shine in Sacramento, and were thrilled to learn that they are willing to come play for us.  Tell all your friends and neighbors.  This will be an unforgettable night.
